빅데이터 시대에 소셜 미디어 (SNS) 데이터의 가치 및 분석에 대한 요구는 날로 증가하고 있다. 소셜 미디어 데이터 분석은 다양한 고객의 의견을 분석하여 전략적인 마케팅 전략 수립을 수립할 수 있고 국가의 정책에 대한 국민들의 의견을 분석함으로써 더 나은 정책을 만드는데 중요한 수단이다. 본 연구 결과는 소셜 미디어 수집, 정제, 분석, 시각화에 대한 교과 과정으로 소설 미디어 분석 전문가 (SNS Data Analyst) 양성을 위함이다.

In this course, we will explore what social media data is and techniques for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing social media. We will approach collection and analysis from both theoretical and hands-on technical perspectives. Specifically we will address:
What social media data is, represents, and its limitations.
The ethical issues involved in collecting,cleaning, and analyzing social media data.
How to collect social media data from publicly available APIs.
Issues relate to storage and archiving.
Data cleaning, slicing, and relevance.
Methods for analysis.
